Austria’s largest lake is an idyllic paradise. A light breeze caresses the face while you listen to the storks and geese brood. Sporty people of all kinds set out to sail the lake and the good mood rubs off, even if you just watch. If you sit here long enough, you somehow become part of the picturesque surroundings; and if you listen carefully, you can even hear the rustling of the reeds.
Burgenland is present in almost every direction around Lake Neusiedl, which is well known as a very easy place to linger. Active visitors also come for sailing, surfing, kite surfing, paddling, beach volleyball, inline skating, horse riding and cycling.
